Privacy policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026 · This is a translation; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
This page explains what data I collect on sophie-monteil.fr, why, how long I keep it and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Data collected
When you book a call through the Let’s talk about your project page, I collect:
- your contact details: first name, last name, email address;
- information about your business: brand name and website, industry, stage, needs and, where applicable, what’s holding you back today;
- how you heard about my business;
- the time slot you chose and your time zone.
No data is collected without your knowledge. Optional fields are marked as such.

Your data is never sold or used to send you advertising without your consent.
Recipients and processors
Only I have access to your data. To operate, the site relies on technical providers that process some data on my behalf:
- Google (Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Meet, Google Apps Script): recording the appointment, creating the video call link and sending emails;
- Google Fonts: displaying the site’s fonts (your IP address is sent to Google when pages load);
- the site’s host: IONOS SARL (France), which hosts the site and the contact@sophie-monteil.fr mailbox.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, notably in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Retention period
Data of people who book a call without becoming clients is kept for 3 years from the last contact, then deleted. If we work together, it is kept for the duration of the business relationship, then for the period required by law (notably accounting obligations).
Cookies and analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure traffic (pages viewed, where visitors come from, booking form steps) and improve the site. No advertising cookies are used.
These tools are only activated after you consent, through the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, no analytics cookie is set.

Your choice (accept or decline) is stored in your browser for 6 months, after which you will be asked again. You can change it at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Analytics data is processed by Google Ireland Limited; some may be transferred to the United States under the Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to set instructions regarding its fate after your death.
To exercise these rights, email me at contact@sophie-monteil.fr. I will reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: www.cnil.fr.
Security
Communications with the site are encrypted (HTTPS) and access to data is protected by secure authentication on the accounts concerned.
